The Contrasts of Lake Garda - Northern and Southern Shores
We love...
Smelling the tangy fragrance of lemons as we wander Limone’s narrow lanes. Watching the Alpine scenery unfold as we trundle past on a narrow-gauge train in the Dolomites.
There are many superlatives that describe the Italian Lakes - beautiful, charming, captivating… And on this all-encompassing tour of both the southern and northern shores of its biggest - Lake Garda, we’ll get to enjoy it all. Sip a cool pinot grigio as you admire incredible waterfront views. Indulge in mouthwatering seafood in quaint trattorias. Wander ancient towns that are bursting with history. We’ll base ourselves in postcard worthy Sirmione in the south and picture perfect Torbole in the north. From the gigantic mountain ranges of the Dolomites and the narrow streets of medieval Verona to the winding canals of Venice and all the pretty lakeside villages in between, this is an Italian escape to remember.
